The DecisionTools Suite 6 offers new versions of @RISK, PrecisionTree, TopRank, NeuralTools, StatTools, RISKOptimizer and Evolver.

Some key features of new @RISK 6 are integration with Microsoft Project, improved graphs, better distribution fitting, and more.

PrecisionTree 6
offers Bayesian revision, the ability to insert nodes, and other improvements.

RISKOptimizer and Evolver 6
now include the OptQuest optimization engine, a great complement to existing genetic algorithms. RISKOptimizer has also been more tightly integrated with @RISK than before.

Key improvements among our data analysis tools include sensitivity analysis in NeuralTools to help design, test, and improve your neural networks. StatTools 6 bring a scatter plot matrix to display multiple scatter plots between variables.

Please Note:
  • The following features are not finalized in Beta #1:
  •
The product is currently only available in English.

The @RISK time series feature is not yet available.

The product documentation is not in its final state.

The VBA macro language does not have support for all the new product features.

The multi-CPU capabilities of @RISK are not yet usable with the new Project features.

The Convert Crystal Ball Workbook feature of @RISK does not yet work with the 64-bit version of Excel 2010.

The DecisionTools Suite Beta can be installed on the same system as a licensed copy of version 5.x of the DecisionTools Suite or @RISK. Both versions install to different directories and launch from separate icons. You cannot run both version 6 and 5.x in the same session of Excel; when running one version, exit Excel before launching the other version.

The DecisionTools Suite 6 beta is compatible with Excel versions 2003-2010, and with Windows versions XP through 7.

The Project features of @RISK require a 32-bit version of Project 2003 or above. The 64-bit version of Project 2010 is not currently supported.

This Beta version expires on March 31, 2012. To uninstall the Beta, use the Windows Control Panel “Programs and Features” (or in Windows XP, “Add or Remove Programs”) option to Uninstall.
